Our previous interview was with Madnezz, the lord and master of New World Order Records. We now continue with two newcomers, they just signed with New World Order Records, and are from a region above Belgium called the Netherlands. Their first EP is known as “Get Louder” and was received with open arms by the hardcore scene. Time to ask Genetic Rage some questions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. How has Covid affected your routine?<\/strong>
Actually it has been a positive experience for us, we are still at the beginning of our career and have not had any bookings as Genetic Rage. We already noticed that our music was improving before Covid, but since Covid there are more masterclasses available and we get confirmation that we are on the right track, and we can also learn a lot from this!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Who or what is a source of inspiration for you?<\/strong>
Tha Playah, Restrained & Angerfist. Their style of tracks, melodies and cool raps suit our style. We also often get inspiration from contemporary things such as tv-series, films and music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. How much influence does music have on your life?<\/strong>
We both have jobs, both have a girlfriend and Jim also has two kids. We try to be in the studio as much as possible, but due to the Covid restrictions it\u2019s not as easy as before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. What is \/ was your ultimate high?<\/strong>
Walter has already performed on a few big podiums. For Genetic Rage, New world order records has shown confidence in us because we have been allowed to join the label.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. What do you have in store for the coming months in the field of music?<\/strong>
We are busy developing new ideas. It is still too early to give it a title, but at least it is on the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. How much influence does your environment have on your taste?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It can really be anything; We get a lot of influences from TV series and movies, but even the simplest sounds like a creaking door, barking dogs, people clapping and cheering, etc. can influence the track we are doing. The possibilities are endless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. What is perfection for you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continuing on a project for months because we are not satisfied and then sometimes start all over again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We always try to learn more and keep raising the bar for ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Suppose you were obliged to forbid something, what would that be?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The covid measures, without a doubt<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. To apply what we call \u201cdivide and conquer\u201d: Android or Apple?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. Describe the Hardcore scene in the year 2020. And what would you change to that year with today\u2019s information?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hardcore scene 2020? Except that quite a few cool tracks have been released, there is not much to say about 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What would we change with today’s information? If you were to ask us, we still think there should be more room to<\/p>\n\n\n\n

festivals and indoor parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11. Suppose you had an unlimited budget, what would you do?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think we’ll go for a studio for both of us with all the bells and whistles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12. What did you think of the 90\u2019s \u201cgabber\u201d concept?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
